Richard Dunne determined to beat old club Everton

Queens Park Rangers defender Richard Dunne is adamant that he wants to beat his former club Everton to improve the R's form away from Loftus Road this season.

Queens Park Rangers defender Richard Dunne has revealed that he is determined to help his side improve their away form this season against his former club Everton.

Harry Redknapp's side have yet to win away from Loftus Road in the current campaign, and although Dunne admits that he has good memories of his time at Goodison Park, he is adamant he wants to claim the three points more than anything.

Dunne told reporters: "I have fond memories of being there, so it's always nice to go back. They gave me the break and I'll always be thankful for that. I was there from 16 until 20. Tony Hibbert and Leon Osman were in the same youth team as me coming through.

"I did all the old youth team stuff, like cleaning the boots and cleaning the toilets. That was all part of our learning. I had a great time living there and enjoyed my time at the club, but I'll be hoping to turn them over. It's about time we started picking things up on the road."

QPR are 18th in the Premier League going into their match against the Toffees.
