Millwall's Rob Hulse backs his misfiring teammates to rediscover their form.

Millwall's Rob Hulse has backed the club's misfiring strikers to rediscover their goalscoring touch.

The Lions strikeforce have netted just three times between them in 2013 during a run that has left them four points clear of the Championship drop zone.

However, the Queens Park Rangers loanee believes that bad luck is to blame for his side's plight, and is upbeat about the season run-in.

"It's just not happening at the moment for the strikers. We have been a little bit unlucky but there are always stages like this in a season. We've just got to keep going and things will turn," he told News at Den.

"I have gone past worrying about scoring. You are asked to do a job for the team. Sometimes it can be difficult playing one up front on your own and you're reliant on service and chances.

"Sooner or later something will drop and then the goals won't stop going in. That goes for everyone, all of the lads. We aren't scoring a lot of goals at the moment but we have to keep believing."

Millwall's 0-0 draw with Ipswich Town last weekend was the seventh consecutive game in which its forwards have failed to score.
