Team News: Jozsef Varga makes Middlesbrough bench

Middlesbrough midfielder Jozsef Varga shrugs off a hip injury to make the bench for today's visit to Bournemouth.

Middlesbrough midfielder Jozsef Varga has passed a late fitness test to make the substitutes' bench for today's clash with Bournemouth.

The Hungarian has shrugged off the hip injury he picked up on international duty, but defender Stuart Parnaby misses out with an ankle strain.

Bournemouth gave late fitness tests to Charlie Daniels and Shaun MacDonald, which only the latter passed to take up a place among the substitutes.

Matt Ritchie will not feature at all for the Cherries after his injury recovery hit a setback.

Boro: Steele, Leadbitter, Williams, Carayol, Adomah, Friend, Whitehead, Kamara, Richardson, Woodgate, Butterfield

Bournemouth: Allsop, Francis, Cook, Elphick, Pugh, Ward, Pitman, Hughes, O'Kane, Grabban, Rantie
