On-loan West Bromwich Albion attacker Matheus Pereira is interesting Manchester United, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the performances of Matheus Pereira ahead of a potential swoop for the on-loan West Bromwich Albion attacker.

The 23-year-old joined the Baggies from Sporting Lisbon over the summer and has excelled during his short time with the Championship outfit.

Indeed, the Brazilian has managed three goals and nine assists in 14 league outings for a team currently top of the table with 33 points to show from their 16 matches.

According to The Mirror, United have been watching the attacker during the 2019-20 campaign and could swoop to sign him on a permanent deal next summer.

Pereira has scored six times in 27 appearances for Sporting but has spent the last two seasons away from the club on loan at Chaves and Nurnberg.

West Brom allegedly have the option to complete an £8.25m permanent transfer next summer.
