Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Manchester United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick said during his pre-match press conference that the Red Devils will have "quite a few missing" against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho have all been back in training this week following recent issues, but Rangnick said that Shaw and Sancho are major doubts, with the former's wife giving birth, while the latter was unable to complete Friday's training session after recently being absent through illness.

Phil Jones also did not complete Friday's session, making him a major doubt, while Eric Bailly (back) and Paul Pogba (calf) are also expected to be absent for the clash with the Eagles.

Mason Greenwood is also still sidelined due to a club suspension, meaning that Rangnick's options for the wide positions could be limited.

If Rashford can prove his fitness then the England international might earn a start alongside Anthony Elanga, but widespread reports on Saturday have claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo is out with a hip flexor issue, so Bruno Fernandes could play as a false nine.

Meanwhile, there are expected to be other changes from the side that started the 4-0 loss at Brighton & Hove Albion last time out, with Fred and Harry Maguire potentially coming back in.

Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles are likely to feature in the full-back positions, while Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay are expected to keep their positions in midfield.

Manchester United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Varane, Telles; Fred, McTominay, Matic; Elanga, Fernandes, Rashford
