Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba says that "very talented" pair Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele "must be serious" if the pair are to realise their potential.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has said that "very talented" pair Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele "must be serious" if the pair are to fulfil their potential.

Mbappe, 18, scored 26 goals for AS Monaco in all competitions last season, and it is understood that the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Man United are desperate to sign the forward in this summer's transfer window.

Dembele, meanwhile, managed 10 goals and 18 assists for Borussia Dortmund during the 2016-17 campaign, and Barcelona have been strongly linked with the 20-year-old in recent weeks.

France's Pogba has paid tribute to the qualities of his international teammates, but has warned the duo that "they must be serious" about football to fully realise their potential.

"The young players like Mbappe and Dembele are very talented," Pogba told Telefoot. "I've never seen this, young players imposing themselves like that, being relaxed like that.

"Mbappe and Dembele have the future before them, they must be serious. They're kids, young people who have a brain. I wish them the best, also with France."

Pogba is currently the world's most expensive player after re-joining Man United from Juventus for £89m last summer.
