Feyenoord confirm John Guidetti interest

Feyenoord head coach Fred Rutten confirms that Manchester City's John Guidetti is one of their targets for this summer's transfer window.

Feyenoord have confirmed that they are interested in signing John Guidetti from Manchester City during this summer's transfer window.

The striker, who has struggled to secure a regular place in the first team with the Premier League champions, had a spell on loan with the Eredivisie side during the 2011-12 season.

Head coach Fred Rutten told FC Rijnmond: "[Technical director] Martin van Geel has contact with John Guidetti. That's none of my business. But yes, he is on our list. He is one of the options, just like the other players on the list."

Guidetti has also been linked with a move to Southampton.
