Sergio Aguero determined to play through pain against West Ham United

Sergio Aguero insists that he will play through the pain if it is required against West Ham United.

Sergio Aguero has insisted that he is ready to play through the pain when Manchester City face West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

City need just one point from their final game of the season to secure the Premier League title, and Aguero's return from a groin injury has handed a boost to Manuel Pellegrini.

Despite conceding that he is not yet 100% fit, the Argentine claims that he is fully prepared to play a full part for the leaders.

"I feel good – I'm not 100% yet, but I should be by Sunday," Aguero told the club's official website.

"Even if I'm not, the emotion of the occasion and the desire of everyone will carry me through and I won't notice any pain."

Aguero scored the winning goal against Queens Park Rangers when City won the title on the final day of the season two years ago.
