Sports Mole previews Sunday's Premier League clash between Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers, including predictions and team news.

Leicester City could go top of the Premier League table if they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon.

Currently sitting in second, the Foxes are just a point behind leaders Liverpool heading into the weekend, while Wolves are only two points further down the table in sixth.

After suffering a slight blip with two consecutive defeats at the start of October, Leicester are currently flying with five wins in a row in all competitions.

It has been an excellent week for Brendan Rodgers's side, as they won 4-1 at Leeds United on Monday night before beating Braga 4-0 in the Europa League on Thursday.

Victory at Elland Road, courtesy of goals from Harvey Barnes, Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy, meant that the Foxes moved to 15 points - their joint best-ever tally after seven games of a top-flight campaign.

Only Tottenham Hotspur (18) have scored more Premier League goals than the Foxes (17) this season, with Vardy already on seven from five starts.

However they have only won once in three home games in the league, and that came in September against Burnley.

Wolves have only ever won once in nine trips to the King Power Stadium – a 4-1 victory in the Championship in May 2007 that secured their promotion to the Premier League.

The current side have picked up 10 points from the last 12 available in the top-flight, conceding just once in those four games.

Rui Patricio has kept the most clean sheets in the division with four, while only Arsenal have let in fewer goals in total.

Last time out, Nuno Espirito Santo's team won 2-0 against Crystal Palace thanks to first-half strikes from teenage debutant Rayan Ait-Nouri and Daniel Podence.

It was the first time Wolves had scored more than one goal in a game since the opening day of the season against Sheffield United.

Nuno will want his side to continue to be clinical on Sunday, but it should be noted that three of their last four meetings with Leicester have ended 0-0.

Team News

Brendan Rodgers should hand recalls to Harvey Barnes, Dennis Praet, Nampalys Mendy and Jamie Vardy after starting them on the bench against Braga.

James Maddison received on-field treatment for a dead leg on Thursday but Rodgers confirmed that the midfielder should be fine to play.

Jonny Evans is set to be available for selection having missed the last three Foxes matches with a back issue picked up against Arsenal.

Nuno is yet to name an unchanged side this season, but with no fresh injury concerns he could stick with the XI that beat Crystal Palace.

Left-back Marcal resumed training this week, but Rayan Ait-Nouri's excellent debut should ensure he keeps his spot in the side.

Leicester City possible starting lineup:
Schmeichel; Fofana, Evans, Fuchs; Albrighton, Tielemans, Mendy, Justin; Praet, Barnes; Vardy

Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Patricio; Boly, Coady, Kilman; Semedo, Dendoncker, Neves, Ait-Nouri; Neto, Jimenez, Podence

We say: Leicester City 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

A really interesting match-up is in store on Sunday. Both teams are in excellent form, while Leicester have a prolific attack and Wolves have a solid defence. It really could go either way, so we are going for the game to end all square but be full of chances.
