A report claims that Everton have joined Chelsea and a number of other clubs in the race to sign teenage Stoke City striker Mohamed Sankoh.

Everton are reportedly hoping to beat Chelsea to the signing of Stoke City youngster Mohamed Sankoh.

The 16-year-old striker is believed to be on the radar of an array of European clubs after impressing at Under-18s levels this season.

Chelsea were rumoured to be leading the race for the Dutchman, but Football Insider claims that Everton have already made enquiries and are looking to jump to the front of the queue.

Sankoh has been with Stoke since 2017 but is unable to sign professional terms until he turns 17 in October.

Stoke are in line for a compensation fee should Sankoh depart the club at the end of the season.
