Team News: James Forrest returns for Celtic

Celtic winger James Forrest returns to the starting lineup for the Scottish Cup clash with Dundee.

Winger James Forrest has been recalled to the Celtic starting lineup for the Scottish Cup match with Dundee.

The 23-year-old has featured from the substitutes' bench in recent weeks after recovering from injury, but boss Ronny Deila has opted to hand him a start in the fifth-round tie at Dens Park.

That is the sole change made by the Norwegian coach as he looks to build on the club's 2-0 victory over Rangers last weekend.

Meanwhile, the hosts are without Kevin Thomson after he failed to overcome a knock picked up last week, but Paul McGinn has recovered from a back injury to take his place on the bench.

Stephen McGinn makes his first start for the club after joining on loan from Sheffield United towards the end of the transfer window.

Striker Paul Heffernan and winger Alex Harris both miss out after previously playing for another club in the competition.

Dundee: Bain, Irvine, Dyer, McPake, Gadzhalov, McGowan, McAlister, McGinn, Stewart, Tankulic, Wighton
Subs: Letheren, Konrad, Black, Allan, McBride, McGinn, Clarkson

Celtic: Gordon; Lustig, Denayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Commons, Johansen, Forrest; Griffiths
Subs: Zaluska, Ambrose, Matthews, Henderson, Stokes, Guidetti, McGregor
