Half-Time Report: Brighton & Hove Albion peg back Huddersfield Town

Lewis Dunk's fifth goal of the campaign cancels out Jacob Butterfield's opener as Brighton & Hove Albion hold Huddersfield Town to a 1-1 draw at half time.

Lewis Dunk's fifth goal of the campaign cancelled out Jacob Butterfield's opener as Brighton & Hove Albion held Huddersfield Town to a 1-1 draw at half time in the Championship this evening.

Huddersfield grabbed the opener after just 10 minutes, when Sean Scannell combined with Tommy Smith before Butterfield finished off the move.

The visitors missed a decent chance to even things up on 22 minutes when Chris O'Grady headed straight into the hands of Alex Smithies.

Danny Holla's speculative effort sailed wide of Smithies's goal just after the half-hour mark before Dunk levelled things up shortly after.

The 22-year-old reacted quickest from Brighton's corner to smash an effort into the net and grab his fifth goal of the season.

Scannell almost gave his side the lead towards the end of the half but his effort flew just wide of David Stockdale's post.
