Marlon King cancels out an early penalty from Mauro Formica to extend Henning Berg's winless run as Blackburn Rovers boss to three matches.

Henning Berg's search for a first win as Blackburn Rovers boss continues after they were held by an impressive Birmingham City this afternoon.

Blackburn were bright from the outset and took the lead after 13 minutes when Ruben Rochina was fouled in the area by David Murphy.

Mauro Formica made no mistake from the penalty spot but Rovers' lead was shortlived.

Lee Clark's side responded just two minutes later when Marlon King reacted quickest after Nikola Zigic hit the post with a downward header.

Danny Murphy lashed wide from range late on before Zigic spurned a gilt-edged chance from close range after bright work from Chris Burke.

Fabio Nunes and Jason Lowe were introduced in the closing stages but they were unable to provide the breakthrough to make it three games without a win for Berg at Ewood Park.
