Preview: Birmingham City vs. Bristol City

Sports Mole previews the meeting of two ailing Championship sides at St. Andrew's as Birmingham host Bristol.

Two ailing sides meet up at St. Andrew's on Tuesday as Birmingham City look to bounce back from a home defeat to the Championship's bottom side against Bristol City.

The Blues were ousted 1-0 on Saturday by rock-bottom Ipswich Town in Mick McCarthy's first game in charge of the Tractor Boys.

Lee Clark's men face the Championship's out-of-form side in Bristol, who have lost their last five and are rooted in the bottom three.

Clark could restore Nikola Zigic to the starting lineup after the Croatian made a big difference coming on against Ipswich, with either Leroy Lita or Marlon King dropping to the bench.

Derek McInnes's Robins will be buoyed by the fact that Birmingham have not win in five at home.

Marvin Elliott may struggle to get fit in time after picking up a knock in the loss at Huddersfield and could be replaced by a returning Neil Kilkenny in the starting lineup.
