Gary Bowyer plans Blackburn Rovers changes for Blackpool visit

Gary Bowyer plans to tweak his Blackburn Rovers starting lineup when rockbottom Blackpool visit Ewood Park in the Championship on Saturday.

Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has revealed that he will tinker with his starting XI when bottom-of-the-table Blackpool visit Ewood Park in the Championship on Saturday.

It will be Rovers' third game in a week after they beat Premier League side Stoke City 4-1 in the FA Cup and then salvaged a late point from last night's league game at Cardiff City.

"It is a squad game and we might need to freshen it up," Bowyer told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"We had three massive efforts and I might need to tweak it here and there, but we will see how people recover."

A point last night keeps Blackburn ninth in the table, 10 points adrift of the playoffs with 15 games of the season to go.
