Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists that Robert Lewandowski will not be leaving the Allianz Arena this summer.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that Robert Lewandowski will not be leaving the Allianz Arena this summer under any circumstances.

Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with the centre-forward in recent weeks amid suggestions that he is keen to move on ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

However, Rummenigge has firmly denied that the Poland international could leave Munich in this summer's transfer window.

"Our door remains closed, the top quality we have at Bayern Munich will stay here," Rummenigge told TZ.

"With Robert, we clearly want to send a signal to people within and outside the club: Bayern Munich are completely different to other clubs who get weak when certain sums are mentioned.

"We are completely satisfied with him, and in his position there are only a few players who are comparable. So it's not in our interest to hand him over - no matter if someone puts 100 or 150 million (euros) on the table."

The 29-year-old has scored 151 goals in 195 appearances for Bayern during his four seasons at the club.
