How Barcelona could line up against Eibar

Sports Mole looks at how champions Barcelona could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Eibar.

Barcelona will be looking to round off their 2018-19 La Liga campaign in style when they travel to Eibar on Sunday afternoon.

Ernesto Valverde's side have once again been too strong for the competition in Spain's top flight, with a total of 86 points leaving them 11 points clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid heading into the final weekend.

The Catalan giants will bring the best away record in the division into this match, but they lost 2-0 at Celta Vigo in their last league fixture away from Camp Nou before returning to winning ways at home to Getafe last time out.

This might be Barca's final match of their league season, but Valverde's side will look to complete a domestic double when they face Valencia in the Copa del Rey final next weekend.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up in the Basque Country.

POSS BAR XI vs. EIB

Out: Rafinha (knee), Luis Suarez (knee), Ousmane Dembele (hamstring), Philippe Coutinho (hamstring)
Doubtful: Arthur (muscular), Marc-Andre ter Stegen (knee)

Valverde will be without a number of key players this weekend, particularly in the final third of the field, which will be a concern ahead of the Copa del Rey final let alone this contest.

Luis Suarez remains unavailable for selection following knee surgery, while a hamstring injury means that fellow attacker Ousmane Dembele will miss out once again.

Philippe Coutinho has joined Suarez and Dembele on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury of his own, while Rafinha remains a long-term absentee following a knee operation.

As a result, Malcom is expected to join Lionel Messi in the final third, while there could be a start for Abel Ruiz, who made his first-team debut off the bench against Getafe last weekend. The 19-year-old might be given the spot at the tip of the attack on what would be a special afternoon for the attacker.

There is also expected to be a change between the sticks with Jasper Cillessen given a rare La Liga outing, as number one goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has a slight knee issue.

Meanwhile, Carles Alena could be handed a midfield spot as Arthur is still battling a muscular problem.
