Team News: Yohan Cabaye fit for Crystal Palace

Yohan Cabaye overcomes a knock to start for Crystal Palace in their Premier League clash with struggling Aston Villa.

Yohan Cabaye has overcome a knock to start for Crystal Palace in their Premier League clash with struggling Aston Villa this evening.

The French midfielder is the Eagles' top scorer this season but sustained an injury during his return from suspension in the FA Cup against Southampton on Saturday.

However, he has been deemed fit enough to start by Palace boss Alan Pardew this evening, while there is also a return to the starting lineup for fit-again Bakary Sako up front.

That is one of only two changes for the visitors, with Jordon Mutch being replaced in the side by James McArthur in the other.

Villa, meanwhile, have made four changes to the side that were held by League Two side Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park on Saturday as Remi Garde goes in search of his first win in charge of the club.

Micah Richards, who scored against Wycombe but was then involved in an angry exchange with the club's fans on the sidelines, is left on the bench due to a foot injury, with Joleon Lescott coming in at the back.

Mark Bunn continues in goal ahead of usual first choice Brad Guzan, while Aly Cissokho, Jordan Ayew and Libor Kozak come in for Kieran Richardson, Scott Sinclair and Rudy Gestede.

Aston Villa: Bunn; Bacuna, Okore, Lescott, Cissokho; Gueye, Westwood, Veretout, Gil, Ayew; Kozak
Subs: Guzan, Richard, Clark, Sinclair, Richardson, Lyden, Gestede

Crystal Palace: Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Cabaye, Ledley, McArthur, Zaha, Puncheon; Sako
Subs: Speroni, Kelly, Jedinak, Mutch, Chamakh, Campbell, Wickham
