Manchester City reportedly have no interest in signing out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder Isco either this month or in the summer.

Manchester City have reportedly ruled out the possibility of trying to sign Isco from Real Madrid this month.

Isco's future at the Bernabeu appears to be up in the air, with current Madrid boss Santiago Solari yet to select the midfielder in a single La Liga starting lineup since his arrival.

The likes of Juventus, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked with the 26-year-old, while Man City were also understood to be interested in his signature.

Reports in Spain have suggested that City assistant Mikel Arteta has enquired about a possible deal, but ESPN reports that manager Pep Guardiola has no interest in signing Isco.

City are not expected to make any new signings during the current transfer window, while Guardiola is happy with his attacking midfield options and will look to strengthen other areas of the team during the summer.

Isco was an unused sub during Madrid's 2-1 win over Real Betis on Sunday, with Solari turning to new signing and former Man City youngster Brahim Diaz off the bench before the Spain international.
