George Graham: 'Arsenal are vulnerable'

Former Arsenal manager George Graham believes that the Gunners are vulnerable because they lack defensive resolve throughout the team.

Former Arsenal manager George Graham has claimed that the Gunners are vulnerable when they are not in possession of the ball.

Arsene Wenger's side fell to a 2-1 defeat at Swansea City on Sunday, despite taking the lead midway through the second half.

Arsenal have won just four of their 11 Premier League games this season and Graham believes that their poor form is down to a lack of defensive resolve throughout the team.

"They are very inconsistent and there are reasons for it," he told talkSPORT.

"In periods of most of their games they play attacking football, they are good on the ball, there is good passing and all that, but they are vulnerable when the opposition has got the ball and that is a big, big problem.

"We all know if you are going to be a successful team, trying to challenge for the Premier League and other trophies, you have to be very good in both sides of the game, in possession and without possession. It is a team effort problem they have got."

The North London outfit are currently sixth in the table.
