Preview: Watford vs. Blackburn Rovers

Sports Mole previews the Championship match between Watford and Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.

Watford can leapfrog Blackburn Rovers if they defeat Gary Bowyer's side at Vicarage Road tomorrow night.

The Hornets held on to their top-half spot despite losing out to Wigan Athletic on Saturday and Giuseppe Sannino could freshen up his starting XI.

Joel Ekstrand is in line for a return but the duo of Sean Murray and Fernando Forestieri are set to miss out again with groin and toe injuries respectively.

Up front, striker Mathias Ranegie serves the last of his three-game ban.

Visiting Blackburn earned a respectable point against league leaders Leicester City on Saturday, but it did come at a price as Adam Henley picked up an ankle injury that will keep him out for the season.

Henley's place at right-back should be filled by Todd Kane, while David Dunn and Jason Lowe could also return in midfield.

Rovers top scorer Jordan Rhodes scored the only goal of the game in the reverse fixture back in October.
