Lucas Castro scored an equaliser deep into the second half, earning Chievo a point against Hellas Verona in the Derby della Scala.

After a goalless first half, it was Eros Pisano who broke the deadlock with a header from a free kick, which gave the visitors the lead with 20 minutes left on the clock.

There was some controversy around Pisano's goal, as it appeared that the right-back was in an offside position when he nodded it past Albano Bizzarri at the back post.

The home side started to mount pressure as they searched for the equaliser with time running out.

Chievo were rewarded for their efforts however, as Castro darted into the box and leapt above Roberto Canella to send a bullet header into the top-left of the goal.

The result puts Chievo fourth in Serie A while Hellas continue to struggle in the relegation zone on four points.
