Pochettino: 'Moura is pushing for start'
Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino suggests that Lucas Moura is in contention to start against Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday night.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that he intends to rotate some of his squad for the Premier League fixture with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Three days after hosting Manchester City at Wembley Stadium, Spurs are back in action against the Seagulls ahead of the FA Cup semi-final with Manchester United on Saturday.

Lucas Moura impressed during an appearance off the bench against City, and Pochettino has acknowledged that the January signing is in his thoughts for the fixture at the Amex Stadium.

At a press conference, the 46-year-old told reporters: "Maybe it will be his opportunity to play a little bit more. There are a lot of games still to play. Of course now maybe it's a moment to rotate players that are tired.

"It's been a tough season and we need fresh legs to get the objective. Yes, he's one of the players who is working hard, trying to take the opportunity, maybe tomorrow is a good opportunity for him to play a little bit more."

Moura has made just three starts and four substitute outings since leaving Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day.
