Antonio Conte calls for Tottenham Hotspur's medical department to conduct their own press conference amid Spurs' injury woes in the past couple of weeks.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has claimed that it is "too easy" for the club's medical department to work amid Spurs' injury woes.

The Lilywhites will welcome Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Moura back to the fold for Monday's Premier League game with Everton, but Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga remain sidelined.

Skipp's groin issue has proved particularly troublesome over the past few weeks, and Conte has called for the doctors to conduct their own press conferences to explain the injury situation.

"It's a pity. I think in England that sometimes you should have a conference with the medical department," Conte told reporters, as quoted by football.london. "It's too easy for the doctors to work here.

"They don't speak and they don't explain. It could be good one day and then in two weeks to have a press conference with the medical department to explain about this situation with the players, about the situation that they are trying to take care of the players. It's too easy for the medical department."

Skipp's groin problem has seen him miss Spurs' last seven matches in all competitions, while Tanganga has now been absent for the same number of games since sustaining a knee injury.
