David Nugent hails "job well done"

Middlesbrough striker David Nugent describes the team's win over Ipswich Town as a "job well done".

David Nugent has said that Middlesbrough's 2-0 win over Ipswich Town was a "job well done" after the side climbed to the top of the Championship table.

The striker scored the second goal at Portman Road after Christian Stuani broke the deadlock for the visitors, moving Aitor Karanka's side a point clear of Brighton & Hove Albion.

Nugent told Sky Sports News: "Two goals, a clean sheet and we're top of the league so it's a job well done.

"Dimi made some great saves in the first half, two in the second half, back post headers, we do keep a lot of clean sheets in this league and it's up to the forwards to score the goals."

Brighton can move back ahead of Boro with a win over Charlton Athletic tomorrow.
