Real Madrid's pursuit of Erling Braut Haaland is reportedly dealt a major blow by Endrick's entourage, who want an easy path to the first team for the 16-year-old.

Real Madrid's pursuit of Endrick will reportedly scupper their chances of signing Erling Braut Haaland from Manchester City in the future.

Los Blancos are understood to be the front-runners for the Brazilian forward's signature, ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Spanish outlet Marca reports that the 16-year-old's entourage are keen for their client to have a clear path to the first team at the Santiago Bernabeu and therefore any potential move for the Norwegian must be placed on hold.

However, the report also states that Haaland is not a priority as the club hold concerns over his injury record and a reported €1m (£863,000) weekly salary, despite a release clause in his contract at the Etihad.

Palmeiras are reportedly negotiating for a fee around €60m (£51.7m) for the youngster, who would not move to the Spanish capital until 2024, when he is 18 years old.

The forward, who became the youngest-ever goalscorer for the club in October when he scored his first professional goal in the Brazilian Serie A, has nine goals in 14 matches so far this season.
