Manchester United may allegedly revive their interest in Monaco forward Pietro Pellegri during the next transfer window.

Manchester United have allegedly identified Monaco forward Pietro Pellegri as a potential transfer target.

The Premier League giants have been linked with the prospect in the past, only for the 19-year-old to ultimately leave Genoa for Monaco.

However, with the Italian yet to make an impact in Ligue 1 and Monaco open to player sales, it appears that United may be prepared to entertain a big-money move.

According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy for club officials to pursue a deal later in 2020.

Although two years remain on his contract, it would come as a surprise if Pellegri is not allowed to leave the Ligue 1 outfit for the right price.

He has not made a first-team appearance since September 2018.
