Fulham are reportedly interested in signing Galatasaray forward Wilfried Zaha this summer.

Zaha joined Galatasaray on a free transfer last summer after he decided against renewing his contract with Crystal Palace.

After spending the majority of his career with the Eagles, the 31-year-old was seemingly enticed by the opportunity to compete in the Champions League for the first time in his career.

Zaha featured in all six Champions League group games, before Galatasaray dropped down to the Europa League where they were eliminated by Sparta Prague in the knockout round playoffs.

Juventus, Roma 'to battle for 20-year-old Arsenal midfielder'

Italian giants Juventus and Roma are supposedly preparing to go head-to-head for the signature of a 20-year-old Arsenal midfielder facing an uncertain future this summer.

A couple of years ago, Charlie Patino was hailed as one of the most highly-rated products to emerge from the Gunners' Hale End academy, and he was quickly promoted to first-team training under Mikel Arteta.

The England Under-21 international's first-team debut was a dream one too, as he came off the bench and scored in a 5-1 EFL Cup crushing of Sunderland at the Emirates in December 2021.

Patino was subsequently handed his first Arsenal start in an FA Cup loss to Nottingham Forest a month later, completing 69 minutes of that contest, but he has not made another first-team appearance for the Gunners since.

Man United 'consider signing goalkeeper to compete with Onana'

Manchester United are reportedly considering signing a new goalkeeper to compete with Andre Onana for the 2024-25 season.

The Cameroon international immediately took on the number one role upon his arrival from Inter Milan, with whom he reached the 2022-23 Champions League final.

Onana stepped into David de Gea's shoes after the Spaniard ended his 12-year association with the Red Devils, but he was subjected to scathing criticism for early mistakes in the first half of the season.

Onana has largely managed to cut out his errors since, though, recording a respectable 12 clean sheets from 46 matches across all competitions, including eight shut-outs from 34 Premier League matches.

Sheffield United attacker Oli McBurnie has reportedly attracted interest from Turkish Super Lig outfit Antalyaspor ahead of the summer window.

Since joining from Championship outfit Swansea City in 2019, the 27-year-old has made 159 appearances for the Blades across all competitions, scoring 29 goals.

McBurnie has struggled with a multitude of injury issues this term but has still managed to bag six goals and three assists from 21 Premier League appearances.

The striker has been a primary source of attacking threat for the struggling Blades alongside January arrival Ben Brereton Diaz and Cameron Archer.

Ex-Arsenal, Man Utd man 'to become free agent at end of season'

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi and Alexis Sanchez celebrate after the match on January 28, 2024
    © Reuters

A former Arsenal and Manchester United attacker is supposedly set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

Thirty-five-year-old Alexis Sanchez recently collected his 20th major honour of a distinguished career, as Inter Milan were crowned 2023-24 Serie A champions with victory over bitter rivals AC Milan.

The Chile international contributed two goals and four assists to the Nerazzurri's run to glory from 20 matches, in addition to scoring twice in eight Champions League contests as Simone Inzaghi's men lost to Atletico Madrid in the last 16.

Four of Sanchez's Champions League appearances came from the first whistle, but he has been a bit-part player in the Italian top flight, where he has been a starter on just five occasions in the current campaign.

Sheffield United 'considering release of Mali international midfielder'

Sheffield United are reportedly prepared to release Ismaila Coulibaly from his contract at Bramall Lane during the summer.

The Mali international made the move to the then-Premier League Blades from Sarpsborg 08 in the summer of 2020 for a fee in the region of £2m.

Under the stewardship of Chris Wilder, Coulibaly failed to cement a spot in the first-team thinking in Yorkshire, being sent on a two-year loan to Belgian Pro League side Beerschot.

The midfielder featured 44 times for Beerschot across all competitions between 2020 and 2022, finding the net on five occasions as they survived in the top tier.

Burnley defender 'attracting interest from Premier League, Bundesliga clubs'

    © Reuters

Clubs from the Premier League and Bundesliga are reportedly interested in signing Burnley's Jordan Beyer during the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old made the initial loan move to the second-tier Clarets in the summer of 2022 from German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach, looking for regular first-team minutes.

Beyer was a key part of the Burnley side which cantered to the Championship crown under Vincent Kompany in 2022-23, finishing above second-placed Sheffield United.

The defender featured in 30 second-tier matches for the Clarets - starting 29 of those - managing to provide four goal contributions during the league campaign.

Liverpool 'expect 26-year-old to push for summer transfer'

    © Reuters

Liverpool reportedly expect one of their second-string players to push for a move away from the club when the summer transfer window opens for business.

With Alisson Becker proving himself as one of the world's best shot-stoppers during his time at Anfield, number two Caoimhin Kelleher has only been able to make a fleeting impression.

Despite his lack of action, Kelleher was lauded for his knockout contributions before the 2023-24 season, having shone during the Reds' run to glory in the 2021-22 EFL Cup.

The Republic of Ireland international unexpectedly earned a run in the first XI in the current campaign too, and he has made 10 Premier League appearances thanks to Alisson's recent injuries.

Ex-Chelsea scout reveals Blues nearly signed Man United defender

    © Reuters

A former Chelsea scout has revealed that the Blues came close to signing a now-Manchester United defender before he made the move to Old Trafford.

Five seasons ago, right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka was making waves in the Crystal Palace XI, playing 35 games in the 2018-19 Premier League season to establish himself as one of the country's most promising full-backs.

Wan-Bissaka's displays in an Eagles jersey convinced Man United to splash out £47m on his signature in the summer of 2019, since when the 26-year-old has contributed two goals and 13 assists in 185 games for the Red Devils.

Consistency and fitness has been hard to come by for Wan-Bissaka in recent times, and his attacking qualities are often criticised, but he has been regarded as one of the best one-on-one defenders in the Premier League while at the Theatre of Dreams.

Real Madrid defender 'attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund'

Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund could reportedly offer one of Real Madrid's unwanted defenders an escape route from the Bernabeu.

Left-back Fran Garcia learned his trade in the Blancos' Castilla setup from 2015 to 2021, but he failed to make the breakthrough into the first team and was sold to Rayo Vallecano for just €2m (£1.7m) in 2021.

Following a successful two-year stint with Real's La Liga counterparts, though, Garcia returned to the Bernabeu in the summer of 2023, after Los Blancos triggered his €5m (£4.3m) release clause.

Garcia has appeared on 28 occasions in all competitions for Carlo Ancelotti's side in the current campaign, registering five assists, while he has also earned his first two senior caps for Spain since rejoining Los Blancos.

Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez has responded to rumours linking him with a summer transfer to La Liga giants Barcelona.

Recent reports claim that the Catalan giants are making progress in their pursuit of the 30-year-old, who will see his contract at Betis expire at the end of the season.

After three years in Mexico with Club America, Rodriguez moved to Europe to join Betis in 2020 and has since established himself as a key player for the Spanish outfit.

The deep-lying midfielder has made a total of 170 appearances for Betis across all competitions, including 21 La Liga outings so far this season.

Arsenal-linked midfielder addresses future with Ligue 1 club

    © Reuters

Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana is yet to make a final decision on his future at the club amid reported interest from several teams including Arsenal.

The France international has spent nearly four years with Monaco and has made a total of 172 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with six goals and 15 assists.

Fofana, primarily a defensive midfielder, is regarded as an integral first-team player for the Monegasques and has played more matches (32) and more minutes (2,781) than any of his teammates in all competitions so far this season.

The 25-year-old is yet to win a trophy with Monaco, who suffered a 3-2 defeat at Lyon last weekend to hand perennial Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain their third successive title with three games to spare.

Four players who could replace Thiago Silva at Chelsea

Chelsea's Thiago Silva celebrates after the match on December 30, 2023
    © Reuters

Chelsea already find themselves a defender light heading into the 2024-25 campaign after Thiago Silva confirmed that he would be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

In an emotional farewell video that lasted longer than four minutes, it was unclear whether Silva was choosing not to pen a new contract of his own accord or whether co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took the decision to cut costs at a time when the club must do everything possible to meet the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations.

Nevertheless, while Silva is now 39 years of age and no longer at the peak of his defensive powers, his exit will leave a considerable void in the dressing room in terms of experience.

Boehly and Clearlake have put Chelsea in the peculiar position of having no active senior outfield player in the squad that is above the age of 29.

Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has confirmed that he will be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Prior to the 2020-21 campaign, impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, Chelsea pulled off one of the coups of that transfer window by signing the long-serving Paris Saint-Germain man on a free transfer.

Silva, then 36 years of age, would initially struggle to adapt to life in the Premier League, Chelsea infamously trailing West Bromwich Albion 3-0 at half time on his debut.

Chelsea would recover to draw 3-3 at The Hawthorns, and subsequently concede just twice in the next six games that Silva started in a season which ended by lifting their second Champions League crown with victory over Manchester City.

AC Milan 'lining up move for Aston Villa man'

    © Reuters

AC Milan have reportedly shortlisted an Aston Villa player as a potential defensive target for the summer transfer window.

All things considered, Milan have enjoyed a respectable 2023-24 campaign, notably sitting in second position in the Serie A standings.

However, while their performance in the league will again deliver Champions League football, sitting 19 points adrift of champions Inter Milan will reportedly have ramifications.

Last week, it was claimed that the Milan board are ready to part ways with long-serving head coach Stefano Pioli in a bid to close the gap to their neighbours.

Liverpool 'expect Mohamed Salah to stay at club this summer'

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah reacts on March 14, 2024
    © Reuters

Liverpool are reportedly confident that Mohamed Salah will stay at the club during the summer transfer window.

The 31-year-old's contract at Anfield only runs until the conclusion of next season, and he was the subject of a £150m bid from Saudi Arabian giants Al-Ittihad towards the end of the last summer window.

Liverpool swiftly rejected the approach from the Saudi Pro League champions, but they are at risk of losing Salah for nothing in just over 12 months' time, and the attacker's future was plunged into further uncertainty over the weekend.

Prior to his second-half introduction in the 2-2 draw with West Ham United, Salah and head coach Jurgen Klopp were seen arguing on the touchline, as Liverpool's title chances all but evaporated in the English capital.

Arsenal, Tottenham 'battling for 18-year-old West Ham starlet'

    © Reuters

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly going head-to-head for the services of an 18-year-old playmaker making waves at West Ham United.

Daniel Rigge left the Manchester City youth system to join the Irons in the summer of 2022 and has been one of the stars of the Under-18 Premier League this season, registering 11 goals and six assists in 19 appearances.

Rigge largely plays as a number 10, but he is also comfortable on both wings and in a deeper midfield position, and his exceptional form at Under-18 level saw him promoted to the Under-21s side earlier this year.

Back in January, the Englishman scored on his Premier League 2 debut in a 4-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion, and he earned his first start for the Under-21s in Friday's 3-1 defeat to Leicester City.

Liverpool 'braced for £150m offers for key player'

    © Reuters

Liverpool are reportedly anticipating a big-money offer being made for Mohamed Salah during the summer transfer window.

The Egypt international has been in the headlines over the weekend after a public spat with manager Jurgen Klopp during Saturday's Premier League fixture at West Ham United.

After a run of poor form, Salah was again dropped to the substitutes' bench for the game at the London Stadium, only being introduced when the Hammers made it 2-2 late in the game.

Before his introduction, the legendary attacker was involved in a brief exchange with Klopp, Salah then failing to help Liverpool find a winning goal.

Barcelona man 'has no intention of leaving in summer'

Barcelona's Raphinha celebrates scoring their first goal with Robert Lewandowski on April 10, 2024
    © Reuters

A Barcelona key player has reportedly decided that he has no interest in a summer transfer away from Camp Nou.

The Catalan giants are still adapting to the news that head coach Xavi has reversed his decision to depart the club at the end of the season.

Xavi's call comes on the back of an improved run of form since his initial decision in January, despite Barcelona's recent exit from the Champions League at the quarter-final stage and defeat to Real Madrid.

Now sitting 14 points adrift of Los Blancos, albeit with a game in hand, Barcelona are effectively certain to end the campaign without a trophy at a time when more financial cuts will be imposed ahead of 2024-25.
