Manchester United loanee Tyler Blackett: 'I will learn from mistakes'

Tyler Blackett says that he will learn from mistakes made in his opening two Celtic appearances.

Tyler Blackett has said that he will learn from mistakes made in his opening two Celtic appearances.

The Manchester United loanee made his debut in Celtic's 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen last weekend, and was at fault for Paul Quinn's winning goal from a set piece.

Ajax scored a similar goal in their 2-2 Europa League draw when Lasse Schone headed the equaliser in the 86th minute.

"I always try to watch every game. I try to look at every pass or every decision I am involved in," Blackett told the Daily Record.

"I'm critical of myself and I need to improve on every performance. I watched the Aberdeen game the day after. I went back to Manchester as we had a day off and watched it myself.

"You look back at things and try to learn from them. The coaches also talk to us about different aspects of the game where we could do better."

The 21-year-old will stay at Celtic Park until the end of the season.
