Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Real Betis

Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League last-16 first leg with Real Betis.

A morale-depleted Manchester United will somehow attempt to consign the weekend to history when they host Real Betis in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 affair on Thursday night.

The Red Devils suffered their joint-worst ever competitive defeat on Sunday, being destroyed 7-0 by Liverpool at Anfield courtesy of Darwin Nunez (2), Mohamed Salah (2), Cody Gakpo (2) and Roberto Firmino.

While refocusing after such a humiliating evening will be a tall order, Man United have reasons to smile in Europe, having seen off Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate in the knockout round playoffs to keep their dreams of a Europa League crown alive.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the visit of Betis, who topped Group C with 16 points from a possible 18 against Roma, Ludogorets and HJK Helsinki.
