RB Leipzig looking to keep Angelino, Patrik Schick?

RB Leipzig are reportedly keen to retain the services of Angelino and Patrik Schick after the end of their respective loan periods.

RB Leipzig are reportedly keen to push through permanent deals for Angelino and Patrik Schick during the next transfer window.

Since joining on loan from Manchester City in January, Angelino has made eight starts in all competitions, scoring one goal.

Meanwhile, Schick has contributed seven goals from 19 appearances in all competitions since Roma allowed him to spend the campaign in Germany.

However, according to Bild, Leipzig may be forced to choose between the two players due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.

The report suggests that the Bundesliga title challengers can only afford to keep one of the duo in the long term.

Much could depend on whether the season is completed, with Leipzig standing to collect sizeable prize money through reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.
