Pablo Zabaleta: 'Manchester City hungry for more'

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta says that winning the Premier League has intensified his hunger for further glory.

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has said that winning the Premier League has only intensified his teammates' hunger for further glory.

The Sky Blues clinched the title following a 2-0 win over West Ham United to cap a memorable first season in charge for manager Manuel Pellegrini.

It was the club's second league crown in the space of three years, and the Argentine says that there is plenty more to come from the Citizens next season.

"It is the manager's first season in the Premier League and he won it. We know how special the Premier League is," he told BBC Sport.

"We need to be proud because we know the owners were spending big over the last few years to make it happen so it's time to enjoy, but we are hungry to bring more success to this club."

Pellegrini also guided the club to a Capital One Cup success this season as his side finished the 2013-14 campaign with a double.
