Raheem Sterling 'will reject £180,000 a week to stay at Liverpool'

Raheem Sterling would reportedly turn down £180,000 a week to stay at Liverpool.

Raheem Sterling is reportedly willing to turn down a deal worth £180,000 a week to stay with Liverpool.

The 20-year-old's contract negotiations are widely believed to have broken down, but the Daily Mail claims that the England international is even ready to reject any proposal to make him the club's highest earner.

It is thought that Sterling would refuse to sign a new deal, even if he is offered £180,000 a week to remain at Anfield.

Sterling is said to be trying to concentrate on his football until the end of the season before reopening talks with the club.

The youngster opened up his England account in the 4-0 win over Lithuania on Friday night.
