Tuesday's Championship predictions including Leeds vs. Luton, QPR vs. Fulham

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Tuesday's Championship action, including Leeds vs. Luton and QPR vs. Fulham.

Millwall vs. Swansea (Tuesday, 5.00pm)

Millwall and Swansea City meet at The Den on Tuesday evening having both lost significant ground in the race to secure a spot in the Championship playoffs.

While Swansea sit four points adrift of Welsh rivals Cardiff City, Millwall have recorded a point fewer after failing to win either of their two games since the resumption.

We say: Millwall 1-1 Swansea City

Given what is at stake, both clubs can ill-afford a defeat on Tuesday evening. With that in mind, we are expecting a tense, low-scoring draw to be played in East London.

Barnsley vs. Blackburn (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

Barnsley welcome Blackburn Rovers to Oakwell on Tuesday evening having moved to within four points of safety in the Championship table.

Meanwhile, Rovers are now four points adrift in the race for the playoffs after losing out at in-form Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

We say: Barnsley 1-2 Blackburn Rovers

While Barnsley are the form team heading into this contest, Blackburn have made a habit of picking up results to keep themselves in the playoff race. Despite being the marginal outsiders on Tuesday night, we expect Mowbray's team to battle their way to a narrow win.

Cardiff vs. Charlton (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

Two sides boasting perfect records since the Championship resumed face off on Tuesday evening as Cardiff City host fellow in-form side Charlton Athletic.

Cardiff have climbed into the playoffs thanks to back-to-back wins over the past week or so, while Charlton have opened up a three-point gap on the relegation zone.

We say: Cardiff 1-1 Charlton

Both teams are in good form and have plenty still left to play for with seven games to go. Five of the last eight encounters between the sides have finished level and we expect the spoils to be shared on Tuesday.

Reading vs. Brentford (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

Brentford make the trip to the Madejski Stadium to face Reading with the opportunity to move to within two points of second-placed West Bromwich Albion.

Meanwhile, after failing to win either of their last two games, Reading play host the Bees on Tuesday evening only sitting seven points above the Championship relegation zone.

We say: Reading 1-3 Brentford

Although Reading are under pressure to respond from the weekend's setback, we feel that Brentford will continue their promotion charge. While the home side have the potential to make things competitive, Brentford's attack should have too much for a backline missing one of its key figures.

QPR vs. Fulham (Tuesday, 6.30pm)

West London rivals Queens Park Rangers and Fulham meet at Loftus Road on Tuesday evening seeking their first points since the Championship season resumed.

Fulham's automatic promotion hopes have all but ended following back-to-back defeats, while neighbours QPR have slipped into the bottom half after losing two from two.

We say: QPR 1-2 Fulham

Both sides have struggled since returning to action, but something has to give on Tuesday. Fulham still have a slim chance of going up automatically and have a good record against QPR, so we are backing them to come out on top in midweek.

Wigan vs. Stoke (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Two sides fighting to secure their safety in the Championship will face off on Tuesday as Stoke City travel to the DW Stadium to take on Wigan Athletic.

Wigan currently sit five points clear of the drop zone in 17th, whereas Stoke are three places below the Latics and only one point above the bottom three after 39 matches.

We say: Wigan Athletic 2-0 Stoke City

Wigan are certainly not playing like a bottom-half side at the moment, and Stoke's confidence would have been rocked by their disappointing loss against Boro at the weekend, so we are backing the Latics to continue their terrific run of form with a comfortable home victory on Tuesday evening.

Leeds vs. Luton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Two sides in desperate need of all the points that they can accumulate will lock horns in the Championship on Tuesday as Leeds United welcome Luton Town to Elland Road.

Leeds are currently three points clear atop the rankings after 39 matches, whereas Luton are embroiled in a relegation dogfight with seven games remaining.

We say: Leeds United 4-0 Luton Town

Luton will certainly feel that they are capable of causing this Leeds side a few problems in midweek, but the only way is up for Bielsa's men at the moment and we expect the Championship leaders to record a straightforward victory over the Hatters on Tuesday.
