Hertha Berlin's Johannes van den Bergh suffers hamstring injury

Johannes van den Bergh is expected to miss up to two weeks with a torn hamstring.

Hertha Berlin midfielder Johannes van den Bergh has suffered a hamstring injury in training and could miss two weeks of the season.

The player tore his right hamstring during a training session on Wednesday and will definitely miss Hertha's clash at the weekend with Nuremberg.

After a consultation with team doctor Uli Schleicher the tear was confirmed, with the initial prognosis given as a 14-day recovery.

Van den Bergh signed for his new side from Fortuna Dusseldorf this summer.
