Everton vs. Crystal Palace postponed

Everton's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace is called off after Goodison Park reportedly suffers building damage caused by inclement weather.

Everton's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace has been called off this evening, after Goodison Park reportedly suffered building damage caused by inclement weather.

It is thought that the damage caused has led officials to postpone the game due to safety concerns, meaning that the fixture now joins Manchester City's clash with Sunderland on the list of postponements.

Before the announcement was made, Merseyside Police had also urged travellers to be careful, with road closures made around the ground's Stanley Road and Boundary Road areas.

Everton currently find themselves in sixth position in the Premier League table.
