Scottish League One roundup: Dunfermline Athletic lose at home

Sports Mole rounds up the day's Scottish League One action.

Dunfermline Athletic have been defeated 2-1 by East Fife at home in the Scottish League One this afternoon.

Lawrence Shankland scored after 22 minutes to give Dunfermline the lead, but the home side were pegged back by Liam Buchanan's 56th-minute effort from the penalty spot.

Then with eight minutes of normal time remaining, Nathan Austin scored the winner for the visitors.

Airdrieonians hammered Forfar Athletic 5-1 with three goals in seven minutes coming from Gregor Buchanan, James Bain and Keigan Parker.

Dale Hilson reduced the deficit six minutes before the break, before James Lister and Liam Watt gave the hosts a resounding win.

Ayr United beat Arbroath 2-1 with Craig Malcolm opening the scoring after just four minutes.

Kenny Deuchar equalised on 37 minutes before Michael Moffat scored his 24th goal of the campaign to give the home side the win.

Meanwhile, David Rowson scored a stoppage-time equaliser to cancel out Jamie Longworth's opener as Stranraer were held by Stenhousemuir.
