Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has admitted that it would be "a dream" to play under Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old is a known target for the La Liga side and has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Spanish capital in recent transfer windows, despite being contracted at Stamford Bridge until 2020.

The Blues are believed to have offered Hazard weekly wages in the region of £300,000 in order to sign a new deal, but reports in recent days have suggested that the Belgian's representatives have discussed the possibility of him joining Los Blancos.

Speaking to Belgian media this week, Hazard revealed his admiration for Zidane and also downplayed reports that he had been snubbed by ex-Blues boss Jose Mourinho after his side beat Manchester United last weekend.

"Zidane would be a dream to have as a coach, he was my idol when I was little," he told RTL TVI. "I have a lot of respect for him.

"And playing under Jose Mourinho [again] would not bother me."

Hazard has been with Chelsea since 2012, during which time he has won two Premier League titles, the Europa League and the League Cup.
