Half-Time Report: Eidur Gudjohnsen pegs back Fulham

Defender Shaun Hutchinson's goal is the difference between Fulham and Bolton Wanderers at half time in their Championship clash.

Bolton Wanderers striker Eidur Gudjohnsen levelled their clash with Fulham on the stroke of half time after Shaun Hutchinson's close-range strike had put the visitors ahead.

The home side started brightly as Saidy Janko burst down the right and teed up Josh Vela inside the opening five minutes, but the youngster's effort was blocked.

Liam Feeney then swung a cross into the path of Gudjohnsen, but the veteran striker's rifled shot was turned behind.

Fulham's first attack of note came on 20 minutes when Bolton's replacement goalkeeper Andrew Lonergan had to be at his best to keep Nikolay Bodurov's near-post header out.

However, the visitors were ahead less than a minute later when Hutchinson hammered home from inside the six-yard box.

Lonergan was alert to deny Hugo Rodallega on the stroke of half time as the Colombian charged towards goal, then reacted quickly to tip away a curling Ross McCormack effort.

In the dying seconds of the first half Gudjohnsen levelled the game when he fired home Janko's cross from close range.
