Pep Guardiola: 'More to Schalke 04 than Leroy Sane'

Pep Guardiola insists that Bayern Munich must not only focus on Leroy Sane when they meet Schalke 04 on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola has claimed that it would be unwise for Bayern Munich to only focus on Leroy Sane when they meet Schalke 04 on Saturday.

Sane's impressive form earned him his first cap for Germany during the international break, while the 19-year-old has also been linked with a switch to Liverpool recently.

Despite revealing his admiration for the attacker, Guardiola believes that Bayern must be wary of his teammates as Schalke look to end a run of six games without a win in all competitions.

"Sane is a huge talent and I can only congratulate Germany to have a talent like him. But there is more to Schalke than Sane," the Spaniard told reporters.

"They have a lot of interesting and dangerous players up front. There's Max Meyer, Franco Di Santo and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. It will be a difficult game for us. They have a lot of quality."

Bayern are currently five points clear at the top of Bundesliga after 10 wins from 11 games.
