Preview: Barnsley vs. Doncaster Rovers

Sports Mole looks ahead to Barnsley's home match against Doncaster Rovers in the Championship.

This weekend's Championship match focuses on the bottom half of the table as Barnsley host Doncaster Rovers at Oakwell.

The home side, who currently linger in the relegation zone having taken 10 points, have struggled in defence this season and have conceded 31 goals so far.

A win this weekend could move them out of the bottom three, while visitors Doncaster remain just one point above the relegation spots following a 3-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.

Both have secured two wins out of the five times that they have played one another, with one draw. However, Barnsley managed to get the better of Doncaster the last time the two sides met at Oakwell.

Manager David Flitcroft will be without Jacob Mellis this weekend as the midfielder nurses an ankle injury, while Theo Robinson is expected to return to Paul Dickov's Doncaster side.
