Sebastien Corchia refuses to rule out Sochaux exit

Sebastien Corchia refuses to rule out a move away from Sochaux, but says that he is not thinking of his future at the moment.

Sochaux defender Sebastien Corchia has said that he is focused on life with Les Lionceaux amid reported interest from Marseille.

The 22-year-old has excelled since arriving at the Stade Auguste Bonal from Le Mans two years ago, which has attracted the attention of a number of clubs in France and England.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were both linked with moves during the summer transfer window, and reports suggest that Arsene Wenger remains an interested observer.

However, Les Phoceens boss Elie Baup is thought to be weighing up a fresh move in January.

The French Under-21 international refused to rule out a move away from the Montbeliard outfit, although he is not giving any thought to his future at the moment.

"I know what I have to do now during matches and I will see what happens in the next windows, but at the moment I want to work with my club," he told L'Equipe.

"[Leaving in the winter] can be a possibility, Sochaux negotiate with interested clubs. I prefer to focus on the present at the moment."

Corchia spent two years at Paris Saint-Germain as a youth player before moving to Le Mans, where he broke into the first team, in 2009.
