Sinisa Mihajlovic thrilled by 'new AC Milan' after Palermo win

Sinisa Mihajlovic pays tribute to his AC Milan side for their ongoing improvement after beating Palermo 3-2 at San Siro.

Sinisa Mihajlovic has claimed that his AC Milan side are constantly improving under his guidance following the 3-2 win over Palermo at San Siro tonight.

Mihajlovic, who replaced Filippo Inzaghi in the summer, watched the Rossoneri bounce back from their derby-day defeat to Inter Milan, with Carlos Bacca netting a 75th-minute winner.

They have now won two and lost two of their opening four Serie A outings, but the coach says that this is evidence of a new Milan coming to the fore.

"When you concede a goal there is always something wrong," he told Mediaset. "We need to improve and push on the accelerator. We always have to play in attack.

"I am satisfied by the result, and partly happy with the game. This is a different Milan than that of the first game. President Silvio Berlusconi is happy and gave us compliments, he saw another Milan.

"The team played well, we created a lot even though we lacked a bit of malice. It takes time, but the results give us confidence."

Mihajlovic's men sit 10th, which is where they finished under Inzaghi last term.
