Philippe Mexes: 'AC Milan can recover'

Philippe Mexes refuses to blame Filippo Inzaghi for AC Milan's poor form and stresses that the club can recover.

Philippe Mexes has said that Filippo Inzaghi must not shoulder all of the blame for AC Milan's troubles this season.

The Rossoneri have struggled for form in the league and were dealt another blow on Saturday when a stoppage-time equaliser from Hellas Verona saw them held to a 2-2 draw.

"It is too easy blame the coach in these situations." Mexes told Mediaset Premium. "But we are all in this together and that is the only way that we can recover from this situation.

"We cannot moan about it, we have to react as a club."

Milan have won just eight of their 26 league games this season.
