Carla Suarez Navarro: 'I had to get my act together'

Carla Suarez Navarro reveals that she had to 'get her act together' to beat Ajla Tomljanovic in round four of the French Open.

Carla Suarez Navarro has revealed that she had to 'get her act together' to beat Ajla Tomljanovic in the fourth round of the French Open.

The Spaniard, who is seeded 14th, saw off the Croatian youngster 6-3 6-3 on Sunday to progress at Roland Garros.

Despite coming through the tie in straight sets, the 25-year-old admits that she was not always at the top of her game.

"Although I was able to break her, I wasn't feeling comfortable," she told the WTA's official website. "The beginning of the second set is always a very important time. I made too many mistakes in that first game, but what matters is that I was able to get my act together and make the necessary changes."

Suarez Navarro will now meet Eugenie Bouchard in the last eight following the Canadian's straight-sets triumph over Angelique Kerber.
