Half-Time Report: Nottingham Forest lead Wolverhampton Wanderers at the break

Henri Lansbury gives Nottingham Forest the lead in their clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the break.

Henri Lansbury has given Nottingham Forest the lead at half time in their clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Billy Davies's side thought that they had started the game in perfect fashion when Andy Reid found Simon Cox, who slid the ball into the net only to be flagged for offside.

The visitors almost took the lead when Sylvan Ebanks-Blake teed up David Edwards, but his hooked effort just missed the target.

Forest were getting a grip on the game and took the lead in the 31st minute when Lansbury fired the ball past Carl Ikeme into the bottom corner.

Wolves were almost level immediately but Bakary Sako's free kick clattered off the bar and Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson somehow missed the target with the rebound effort.
