Tony Pulis: 'We must not look past Everton game'

Tony Pulis insists that he is not looking past the game against Everton as West Bromwich Albion continue to battle against the threat of relegation.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has insisted that he is refusing to look past the next game as his side prepare for Monday's meeting with Everton.

Pulis has won both games since taking charge of the Baggies, but he believes that it is crucial not to plan too far ahead as he looks to keep the club in the Premier League.

"How far have I looked ahead? Monday night, and that's me," the West Brom boss told reporters. "The next game is the most important, what goes on after that I'm not concentrating on at all.

"We need to forget all of this, 'you've got a hard run of games, so you've got to do this or you've got to do that'.

"If we're all perfect punters none of us would be sat here now, we'd be in the Bahamas or wherever drinking a nice glass of champagne."

West Brom head into the game against Everton in 15th, just two points outside of the relegation zone.
