Valencia boss Gary Neville not content with a point

Valencia boss Gary Neville refuses to be satisfied by his team's point against Real Madrid in Sunday's La Liga fixture at the Mestalla.

Valencia boss Gary Neville has admitted that his team "relaxed a bit" when Real Madrid went down to 10 men in their La Liga clash at the Mestalla on Sunday evening.

Neville is still searching for his first league win in charge of Los Che, but his team twice came from behind to secure a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Los Blancos.

The former Manchester United defender, however, has claimed that his team dropped their tempo when Mateo Kovacic was sent off in the 68th minute, which cost them the chance to secure all three points.

"Before the game I wanted to see a continuation of what I saw in the second half against Villarreal. The first 10 minutes cost us. But then I saw an excellent performance. We've seen the talent of the young players for 90 minutes. But that's not enough. We had a chance, and then Bale... that's football," Neville told reporters.

"When we were against 10, possession was easier, we started playing slowly and we lacked speed. It looked like we could relax a bit. Then there were two or three mistakes to be avoided.

"What matters most to me is can we play well and get results, because without results its worthless. I think we played with speed between the 20th minute and the 70th. When we were against 10 we relaxed a bit because it was easier to have the ball."

Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale were on the scoresheet for Real Madrid in Sunday's clash, while Dani Parejo and Paco Alcacer netted for the home team.
