Angel Rangel, who is leaving Swansea City at the end of the season, captains the Premier League strugglers in the season finale against Stoke City.

Swansea City manager Carlos Carvalhal has made five changes to his starting XI for Sunday's Premier League season finale against relegated Stoke City.

Captain Angel Rangel starts a league game for only the second time this season in what will be his 374th and final appearance before leaving the Liberty Stadium this summer.

Mike van der Hoorn, Tom Carroll, Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge are also reinstated to the starting lineup as they bid to overturn a 10-goal swing to leapfrog Southampton out of the bottom three.

Connor Roberts, Kyle Naughton, Federico Fernandez, Ki Sung-yueng and Sam Clucas, who began Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat against the Saints, are the players who make way against the Potters.

Stoke, meanwhile, make just one change from their defeat against Crystal Palace as 18-year-old defender Lasse Sorensen makes his debut, replacing Glen Johnson at the back.

Eric Choupo-Moting has returned to training after nearly two months out with a groin problem but is not yet ready to play a match.

Bruno Martins Indi and Kostas Stafylidis are also sidelined for the Championship-bound side.

Swansea City: Fabianski; Rangel, Van der Hoorn, Mawson, Olsson; Dyer, King, Carroll, Routledge; A. Ayew, J. Ayew
Subs: Nordtfeldt, Naughton, Fernandez, Clucas, Britton, Narsingh, Abraham

Stoke City: Butland; Bauer, Pieters, Shawcross, Zouma; Allen, Ndiaye, Sorensen; Shaqiri, Crouch, Diouf
Subs: Haugaard, Adam, Ireland, Johnson, Cameron, Fletcher, Campbell
