Team News: Jozy Altidore, Steven Fletcher lead line for Sunderland

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet starts with Jozy Altidore and Steven Fletcher as a front two for this afternoon's Tyne-Wear derby against Newcastle United.

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet chooses Jozy Altidore and Steven Fletcher to lead the line as he looks to kick start the club's season with a win in the derby against Newcastle United.

Poyet has also gone for a four-man midfield, with Sebastian Larsson and Adam Johnson expected to provide on the wings, while Lee Cattermole and Jack Colback start in the centre.

Alan Pardew has chosen a fluid front three of Yoan Gouffran, Loic Remy and Hatem Ben Afra, with Yohan Cabaye expected to support from midfield.

Mike Williamson partners youngster Paul Dummett in the centre of defence at the Stadium of Light.
